PATTERN DETAILS

• This pattern is a collaboration Natasha Tishchenko and Granny's Crochet Hook;
• Pattern included instructions on making four different characters (kingfisher, waxwing, chickadee and snowbird) and a few fun facts about them.
• In English only using US crochet terminology;
• PDF document of 29 pages with detailed instructions and 55 respectively images (no video);
• Stitches used:  chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, spike stitch, french knot;
• Note that this pattern example was created with the yarn under technique to create “V” stitches;
• The finished birds are 14-16 cm tall when made with the indicated yarn;

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• Yarns: ALIZE Bella (100% cotton), ALIZE Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton and YarnArt Jeans (mixed cotton/acrylic) yarns);
• B-1/2 mm crochet hook;
• Sewing needles;
• Scissors;
• Fiberfill for stuffing;
• Stitch marker;
• Pins;
• Scraps of yarn, embroidery floss and any crafting materials you like for decorating;
• Black glass or safety eyes 2 mm (if using).
